During the winter ski season, there are additional flights from New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Charlotte and Salt Lake City. A larger airport near Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is the Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) served by American Airlines, Delta, United and Allegiant. It’s approximately an 80-mile/1.5-hour drive from the airport to the park’s south entrance on South Rim Road.
