Rocky Mountain National Park
Spanning the Continental Divide, Rocky Mountain National Park stretches across 415 square miles filled with alpine lakes, the headwaters of the Colorado River and dozens of peaks that reach 12,000 feet and higher.
Drive up Trail Ridge Road and you’ll spot Longs Peak in the distance piercing the sky at 14,259 feet. This famous mountain summit attracts avid hikers from all over the world.
Down in Rocky’s meadows, watch the park’s most crowd-drawing wildlife, herds of elk that put on a bugling show each autumn.
